Ahmad Majing was born and raised in China and graduated in jewelry/metal design at the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth. Becoming involved in the jewelry world as a kid when his family opened a jewelry boutique in Beijing. Ahmad developed a passion for jewelry as a medium for creative and artistic expression of art. He thinks contemporary jewelry does not always aim to flatter. It also could be designed to push the limits of glamour, courting danger and reflecting tensions. He wishes to create jewelry artwork that breaks the boundaries of the traditional perspective of beauty, wearability, and value, which expresses human emotions such as fear, pain, or anger.
Ahmad is a dedicated jewelry professional with diverse experience in design, stone setting, and bench work. He also has interned in some major jewelry companies and studios, such as Tiffany & Co and Jared the Jewelry of Galleria. His dream is to have a future career as an iconic jewelry artist and help the family maintain a successful jewelry business.
