The eye necklace is inspired by the traditional Palestinian jewelry worn by the women in villages for centuries that have been becoming the symbol, identity, culture, and national aspirations of their homeland and society during the historic event of Nakba, which also reflects the ongoing struggle, suffering, oppression and violence in Palestine. The eye and tears represent the witness and experience of chaos, distraction, and suppression of the humankind.
